Serena Williams Wins AP Player of The Year

Last Friday Serena Williams was named Associated Press Player of The Year for the fourth time in her career. Williams received 50 first-place votes and 352 points in a vote by U.S. editors and news directors. She also won the prestigious award in 2002, 2009 and 2013. Williams is one of the most resilient and amazing athletes I have ever seen. She constantly rises above every challenge that comes her way and proves to be a phenomenal athlete each time surpassing people's expectations. I am so proud of her accomplishments and she is no doubt the kind of role model we would want for our children or at least I would be honored to have for my children. You girl!!!
