This is a devastating story because I expected the Nigerian government to do better. These innocent girls were abducted from their homes and schools by Boko Haram in the summer of 2012. It was 2 years after their abduction that main stream media featured their stories. They were in captivity for over 3 years. Now that they have been rescued after many months of sexual abuse and babies in tow, the least the government could do is provide for them and establish means of rehabilitating them back into the society, while meeting their's and their babies' needs at the same time. It is so sad to read on the news that these women are resorting to prostitution because their communities and families have rejected them and would not help them. I hope that President Buhari does something major to help them out. For more about this story visit news.yahoo.com.
