These pictures were taken at my second interview at the job that would have made my being on YouTube very very unlikely.
A disappointment led me to YouTube in October of 2014 and ever since then, Life has not been the same. At the time, I didn't know that my YouTube channel, was going to make much of an impact or even draw traffic. But I was WRONG! Shortly after posting my first two videos, people started subscribing and commenting and the love was amazing and unexpected. Prior to starting Youtube, I had got a job with a fortune 500 company in Atlanta, gone through training and was scheduled to start working, when something went wrong and my work document was being delayed. If you are a regular visitor on my blog, you already know the rest of the story. Due to the unexpected delay on my work documents, I lost the job and my benefits. May be I should re-phrase the last sentence. My employers were willing to wait for me to get my work documents and then come by and start. However, they could not let me work and receive all of the great benefits that came with working at their company without my legal work document.
I was dressed to win on the first day of interview :)

My university and I tried to make the government send my documents as soon as they could but all efforts were not successful. While this was going on, I decided to keep myself busy by making my first video with my husband and that was the famous "HUSBAND TAG". Shortly after, we filmed the "Wife TAG." I decided to follow up with inspirational and encouraging content and the love began pouring in. Subscribers and people who had come across my videos and were inspired by them, started emailing and commenting about how blessed they felt to have found my channel. From the emails and the comments that were coming through, I just knew that my being on YouTube WAS MEANT TO BE! I somehow knew that it was NOT a coincidence that thousands of people were expressing to me how my content had inspired and blessed them! Looking back from where I am right now, I can honestly say that I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING ABOUT WHAT led me to this point, because changing it would mean TAKING BACK THE BLESSING, LOVE, JOY AND INSPIRATION that thousands of people get from my content on YouTube. I'm not that cruel. I see a blessing when I sense it. YouTube has helped me realize a dream that is worth pursuing. That dream is being an inspiration and an encourager. I give all glory to God for letting me pass through the fire that led me to becoming someone that thousands are inspired by. Here are a few screenshots of comments I get on a daily basis:

All of these comments fill my heart with joy and inspire me to keep doing what I am doing. Now, the dream is to focus on setting up a better filming area and getting better equipment to create better and high quality content for these amazing people as well as those who will stumble upon my channel and be blessed by it. I have set up a gofundme account to raise money for my studio equipment. I have a dream to build a community of Hope and Empowerment through my videos and a desire to speak on platforms like TEDXX to inspire thousands of people around the world.
Let's work together to make the world a better place, one encouraging video at a time! To donate to making the DREAM come true, please visit Thank you and God bless you! Here's one more reason I'm very encouraged to keep being encouraging;
One of my subscribers made a donation to a charity in her country on my behalf. I am very humbled by the little ACTS OF KINDNESS that come from my friends and subscribers! We are indeed becoming the change we want to see! I feel so fortunate to be a PART OF THAT CHANGE!
